As the global cashew market enters the final quarter of 2025, Vietnamβs export sector is showing clear signs of stabilization after months of exchange rate and logistics fluctuations.
According to VINACAS and Vietnam Customs, cashew exports from January to September reached nearly 495,000 tons, valued at USD 2.78 billion, representing a 4.3% increase in value compared to the same period last year.
π Demand Recovery Across Key Markets
The final quarter traditionally marks the busiest export period for Vietnamese cashew processors. Major importers in the U.S., EU, and Middle East have resumed strong purchasing activity as retail demand improves.
- U.S. market: supermarket and snack chains are restocking in preparation for year-end holidays, leading to a 6% increase in import volume compared to Q3.
- EU region: stable inflation and stronger consumption boosted orders for roasted and flavored cashews, especially private-label products.
- China and East Asia: trade activity continues to expand, with OEM shipments and e-commerce channels growing rapidly.
π° Price Stability and Export Margins
FOB prices for Vietnamese cashew kernels have remained relatively stable through October, with only minor fluctuations across grades.
- WW320 prices are steady, reflecting balanced supply and global demand recovery.
- WW240 continues to attract premium buyers due to its larger kernel size.
- LP and WS grades show consistent movement as snack and ingredient manufacturers restock.
Compared with early 2025, overall export prices in Q4 are up 2β3%, while factory output remains steady thanks to stable RCN imports from Africa.
π SVCβs Export Readiness for Q4
SVC International JSC, one of Vietnamβs top certified exporters, continues to secure long-term contracts with buyers in more than 63 countries.
The companyβs monthly output exceeds 700 MT, supported by advanced processing lines, nitrogen packaging, and global standards compliance including BRC, HACCP, ISO 9001, FSPCA, FDA, Halal, Kosher, CE, and INC.
SVCβs diversified product lines β from raw kernels to roasted and flavored cashews β help maintain competitiveness in multiple markets. Its OEM and private-label solutions are increasingly sought after by retailers seeking reliable partners in Asia.
π Forecast for the Rest of 2025
Analysts expect Vietnamβs cashew exports to reach approximately 670,000β690,000 tons by year-end, driven by the holiday buying season and stable global shipping costs.
While logistics surcharges and exchange rate shifts remain potential risks, the overall outlook for Q4/2025 remains positive.
For importers and distributors, this is a favorable period to secure contracts at stable prices before the new 2026 RCN season begins.
